Frequently asked questions

Is a drawn signature legally binding?

In many jurisdictions an electronic signature is legally valid, but a drawn image carries no cryptographic proof of who made it. For contracts that matter, use a proper e-signature service that provides an audit trail.

Why choose a transparent background?

So the signature can be placed over existing document text without a white rectangle covering it. Turn transparency off only if the target application does not handle PNG alpha channels.
