Web Accessibility Checkers & References

Check heading structure, alt text, link wording, colour contrast and touch target sizes.

Convertto's accessibility tools check the things that break screen readers and keyboard navigation most often: heading levels that skip, missing or unhelpful alt text, vague link wording such as "click here", colour contrast below WCAG thresholds, missing landmarks, and touch targets under the minimum size. Each check runs in your browser and cites the WCAG success criterion it maps to.

Frequently asked questions

Do these tools guarantee WCAG compliance?

No. Automated checks reliably catch roughly a third of WCAG issues — the machine-testable ones. Keyboard operation, focus order, meaningful sequence and whether alt text is actually accurate all require a human. Treat a clean result as a floor, not a certificate.

Which WCAG version do these follow?

WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is the level referenced by most legislation including the European Accessibility Act and Section 508. Each tool names the specific success criterion it tests.
