Privacy Policy

The short version

617 of our 624 tools run entirely inside your browser. The files and text you put into them are never transmitted to us, because there is no upload step — the processing happens on your own device using JavaScript and WebAssembly. We could not read your data if we wanted to.

What we do not collect

  • We have no user accounts, so we never collect names, emails or passwords.
  • We do not upload, store or log the files you process.
  • We do not store the text you paste into any tool.
  • We do not sell data, because we do not have any to sell.

Tools that do use a server

A small number of tools cannot work locally — a browser cannot query DNS or read another website's headers. For these, the address or domain you enter is sent to our server to perform the lookup, and is used only to return your result:

  • WHOIS / RDAP Domain Lookup

Local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember preferences such as dark mode. This never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics and advertising

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page views and to measure how quickly pages load. On this deployment that is Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights: their scripts are served from this domain, they set no cookies, and what they report is the page visited and its loading performance — never anything you type into a tool or any file you open. If advertising is enabled, ads are served by Google AdSense, which may set cookies and use them for personalisation subject to Google's own policies. Ad content is never given access to the data you process in a tool.
