Check whether a year is a leap year and see the next and previous ones, with the rule explained.

A year is a leap year if it is divisible by 4, except century years, which must also be divisible by 400. So 2024 and 2000 are leap years but 1900 and 2100 are not. The exception exists because a solar year is 365.2422 days, so adding a day every four years slightly overcorrects.
