Image Resizer

Resize images by size, percentage or a social-media preset visually in the interactive UI editor or in bulk.

To resize an image, add your files and either pick a preset - Instagram, Story, Open Graph, YouTube thumbnail, 4K, app icon — or set a custom size. Presets scale and centre-crop to fill the exact dimensions. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded and batches are unlimited.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Fit and Cover?

Fit scales the whole image to sit inside your box, so the result may be smaller than the target in one dimension. Cover scales to fill the box completely and centre-crops the overflow, which is what social platforms expect. Presets use Cover.

Will resizing reduce quality?

Making an image smaller is essentially lossless in perceived quality. Enlarging beyond the original resolution cannot add detail that was never captured, so it will look soft.

Which size should I use for a link preview?

The Open Graph preset at 1200 - 630. That ratio renders correctly on Facebook, LinkedIn, X and Slack without being cropped unpredictably.
