Image Border & Rounded Corners Tool

Add a solid, gradient or photo-style border, and round the corners of any image.

To add a border to an image, set the width as a percentage and pick a colour — a solid frame, a photo-print style with a wider bottom edge, or an inset line drawn inside the image. Corner radius is separate, so you can round the corners with or without a border, and 50% on a square image produces a circle.

Frequently asked questions

Why did my rounded corners come out white or black?

JPG has no alpha channel, so the transparent corners are flattened onto a solid colour. Export as PNG or WebP if the image will sit on a coloured background — that is the only way the corners can actually be transparent.

How do I turn a photo into a circle?

Crop it square first, then set the corner radius to 50% and export as PNG. On a non-square image, 50% produces a stadium shape rather than a circle, because the radius is bounded by the shorter side.
