About converting VTT to ASS

WebVTT is required by the HTML5 <track> element, uses full stops for decimals and begins with a WEBVTT header line. It is the only format browsers play natively. ASS carries positioning, fonts and colours alongside the text. Converting to it produces valid but unstyled cues; converting away from it discards the styling entirely.
