Frequently asked questions

Does merging reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied at the object level, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. Nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Only files with an owner password (permissions restrictions). A file with a user password cannot be opened without that password, and this tool deliberately does not attempt to break encryption.
