PowerPoint to Video Converter

Encode a deck into an H.264 MP4 video, a few seconds per slide.

PowerPoint to Video Converter reads the presentation's shape tree in your browser — every text box with its position, size, weight and indent level, plus the speaker notes — and renders each slide and encodes them into an H.264 video with ffmpeg. The file is never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Is there narration or animation?

No. Each slide is held as a still for the number of seconds you choose and encoded into a standard MP4. Slide transitions, builds and recorded narration are not carried across — that would require replaying PowerPoint's animation engine.

Why is the first run slow?

The video encoder is ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, around 30 MB, and downloads once before the first encode. It is cached afterwards.
