### Will it reflow properly on my e-reader?

Yes, and that is the whole reason to convert. A PDF has fixed pages; an EPUB has flowing text that re-wraps to your screen and font size. Headings detected in the PDF become chapter breaks, so the table of contents works.

### How are chapters found?

By text size. The most common size in the document is taken as body text, and anything meaningfully larger is treated as a heading — which is what the typesetter meant it as. A document with no size variation becomes one chapter per page.
