An Open Graph image is the 1200 × 630 picture social networks show when your link is shared. Type a title, optional subtitle and badge, pick a background and download the PNG — then reference it from `og:image` and `twitter:image`. Every other common social size is available from the same form.

## FAQ

### Why is my new OG image not showing when I share the link?

Every network caches the scraped image, usually for days. Facebook's Sharing Debugger and LinkedIn's Post Inspector both have a re-scrape button that clears it immediately; X refreshes on its own schedule and cannot be forced.

### What size should an Open Graph image be?

1200 × 630 is the safe answer — it is 1.91:1, which is what Facebook, LinkedIn and Slack crop to, and X accepts it as a summary large image. Keep the minimum above 600 × 315 or some networks fall back to a small thumbnail instead.

### Does the OG image affect SEO?

Not directly — it is not a ranking factor. It affects click-through rate on shared links, which is a different and often larger lever than position alone.
