## How to use

1. Select your image — the file stays on your device and is never uploaded.
2. Enter or paste your top text.
3. Enter or paste your bottom text.
4. Choose the text placement.
5. Set the text size.
6. Turn "Force uppercase" on or off as needed.
7. Pick the text colour.
8. Pick the outline colour.
9. Set the outline thickness.
10. Set the edge margin.
11. Choose the format.

## FAQ

### Why does my meme text not look like Impact?

Impact ships with Windows and macOS but not with Linux or Android, and the browser silently substitutes when it is missing. The font stack falls through to the closest heavy condensed face available on your system, so the result is close but not identical.

### Why white bars instead of text over the image?

It is the older meme convention and it is genuinely more readable over a busy photo — no outline can rescue white text over a detailed background. It also keeps the whole image visible, which matters when the picture is the joke.
