# Image Rotator & Flipper

> Rotate images by 90, 180 or 270 degrees and mirror them horizontally or vertically.

To rotate an image, add your files and choose 90, 180 or 270 degrees, optionally mirroring horizontally or vertically at the same time. The canvas is resized so nothing is cropped when the orientation changes, and batches process together.

## FAQ

### Why did my photo rotate itself?

EXIF orientation. Phones record the sensor image plus a flag saying which way up it should display. Software that honours the flag shows it correctly; software that ignores it does not, which is why the same file looks rotated in one app and not another.
